This paper discovered the implicit trend of the industrial robot market. The European Union and the United States are proposing new industrial project to keep their leading position. On the other hand, there are huge demand for industrial and service robot in Asia, as well as China. Some suggestions are given in order to catch up with the opportunity and face the challenge.

罗仁权IEEEFellow,IETFellow。现任台湾大学电机工程学系何宜慈讲座教授暨终身特聘教授、台湾大学智慧机器人及自动化国际研究中心主任、台湾机器人学会荣誉理事长、台湾研究与发展管理协会主席等职。主要研究智能型传感器控制机器人及自动化系统的理论及应用,涉及医疗机器人,服务型机器人、全自动轮型移动机器人、类人形机器人、安保机器人、教育及娱乐伴侣机器人;智能型多重传感器融合与整合系统;视觉伺服反馈控制系统;3D打印控制系统及快速雏型产品开发与先进制造自动化系统;智能型机电一体化系统等领域。在以上领域发表国际学术期刊论文、会议论文、专著共计450余篇,申请专利20余项。在美、日、德著名大学有20多年教学研究经验;曾40多次受邀于重要国际会议担任特邀主讲人(keynotespeaker)及重要研究领域主讲人(plenaryspeaker)等。曾任IEEE/ASMETransactionsonMechatronics、IEEETransactionsonIndustrialElectronics期刊主编。E-mail:renluo@ntu.edu.tw
