耕地是粮食生产的“命根子”。西北地区盐碱地是保障国家粮食安全的重要后备耕地资源和“潜在粮仓”,统筹推进西北地区盐碱地综合治理利用是实现“藏粮于地、藏粮于技”的战略举措。文章系统梳理了西北地区盐碱地资源数量、分布规律和潜力状况,以及盐碱地变化趋势、盐碱化演变过程和改良治理成效,分析了统筹推进西北地区盐碱地综合治理利用面临的问题与挑战,凝练了未来西北地区盐碱地与土壤盐碱化研究的重点方向与关键科学问题,提出了统筹推进西北地区盐碱地综合治理利用的相关对策与建议。
英文摘要
Cultivated land is the lifeblood of grain production and the foundation for food security. Saline-alkali land in Northwest China is an important cultivated land reserve resource and a potential granary for guaranteeing national food security, so the highquality promotion of comprehensive management and utilization of saline-alkali land in Northwest China is a strategic measure to achieve the goal of“storing grain in land and technology”. Based on a profound understanding of the great significance for promoting the integrated management and utilization of saline-alkali land in Northwest China, this study systematically summarizes the quantity, distribution pattern, and utilization potential of saline-alkali land resources, as well as the change trend of saline-alkali land, the evolution process of soil salinization, and the achievements of management, amelioration and utilization in Northwest China. Further, the key problems and challenges faced by the overall promotion of the comprehensive management and utilization of saline-alkali land are analyzed, as well as the key development directions and major scientific issues of the future research on the improvement and utilization of saline-alkali land and the prevention and treatment of soil salinization in Northwest China are proposed. In the meantime, the relevant countermeasures and suggestions are presented to overall promote productivity expansion and ecological benefit improvement of saline-alkali land in Northwest China. The study aims to provide scientific support for the ecological protection and high-quality development of saline-alkali land in Northwestern China and elsewhere in the world.
