        南北两极是地球系统的冷源,其气候与环境随着全球变暖发生着快速的变化。发展极地环境探测技术是理解极地环境快速变化机制和参与极地国际治理的关键支撑。我国开展极地科学考察近40年,极地环境探测技术得到了长足的发展。文章介绍了国内外相关技术发展历程和现状,并探讨了面向新的发展时期我国极地环境探测应重点发展的若干关键技术与装备。
英文摘要
        The South and North poles are cold sources of the Earth system. The local climate and environment in polar regions have experienced rapid change under global warming. The development of technologies for the detection of the polar environment can provide critical support for the understanding of mechanisms of rapid climate change and the participation in international polar governance. Technologies for the detection of the polar environment have been seen considerable development in the past four decades since China engaged in polar expeditions. This study introduces the domestic and international development process and the current status of the related technologies. The highest national priorities of critical technologies and equipment for the detection of the polar environment are conceived with respect to a new era of development.

程晓 中山大学科学研究院院长、测绘科学与技术学院院长,中山大学极地研究中心主任,教 授。中国高校极地联合研究中心秘书长,科学技术部国家极地专家委员会委员兼秘书长,第八届教 育部科学技术委员会地学部委员。长期从事极地与海洋遥感研究,取得了系统性的创新研究成果。牵头推动我国"极鹰"系列极地遥感无人机快速发展和体系构建、推动我国首颗极地遥感小卫星 "冰路"卫星发射入轨、地面处理系统建设和应用。国家杰出青年科学基金获得者,曾获"北京青 年五四奖章""中国极地考察先进个人"称号。

CHENG Xiao Director of Office of Scientific Research and Development, Dean of School of Geospatial Engineering and Science, and Director of the Polar Science Center in Sun Yat-sen University. He also serves as the Secretary-General of University Polar Joint Research Center of China and National Polar Expert Committee of Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China. Cheng Xiao has been dedicated to the research on remote sensing of the polar and ocean environment. He has promoted the development of unmanned aerial vehicles in polar regions and led the construction of China's polar air-borne remote sensing system (Polar Hawk series). He has also promoted the launch of China's first polar satellite (Ice Pathfinder), as well as the construction and application of the corresponding ground processing system. Cheng Xiao is the winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, he has also won the Advanced Individuals in China's Polar Expedition and Beijing Youth May Fourth Medals.
