        城市化快速发展及其虹吸效应导致城乡差距日益扩大,如何破解这一难题已经成为全社会关注的焦点。文章从都市农业的内涵外延、形态特征及其作用与功能等入手,阐述了都市农业在拓展城市农业空间、增强城市食物供给弹性、保障居民身心健康、改善生态环境及减少碳足迹等方面的独特作用,分析了城乡之间互融互通的方法与路径,并对都市农业在破解城乡发展难题所发挥的作用进行了展望,提出了推动城乡融合发展与乡村振兴的政策建议。
英文摘要
        How to solve the widening gap between urban and rural areas caused by the rapid development of urbanization and its siphonic effect has become the focus of the whole society. The unique role of urban agriculture in expanding urban agricultural space, enhancing the elasticity of urban food supply, ensuring residents' physical and mental health, improving the ecological environment, and reducing carbon footprint was discussed, from the perspectives of urban agriculture's connotation and denotation, morphological characteristics and functions. Besides, the potential role of urban agriculture in solving the issues of rural and urban development and the method and strategies of integration between urban and rural areas were demonstrated respectively, and further correlative policy recommendations for promoting urban-rural integration development and rural revitalization were put forward.

杨其长 中国农业科学院都市农业研究所党委书记、副所长、研究员。国际欧亚科学院院士,兼任国际园艺学会(ISHS)植物生产系统智能化专委会主席、国家智慧植物工厂创新联盟主席。"863"项目"智能植物工厂化生产技术研究"首席科学家,国家重点研发计划"中英智慧植物工厂"首席科学家。长期从事设施农业领域的科研工作,在植物工厂、温室节能及都市园艺等方面取得多项创新成果。以第一完成人获国家科技进步奖二等奖 2项、中国专利金奖 1项、其他省部级奖励 10余项,发表论文 267篇,著作 8部,获授权专利 150余件。

YANG Qichang Executive Director General of Institute of Urban Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), Academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences. He is also the Chairman of Working Group for Design and Automation in Integrated Indoor Production Systems of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) and the Chairman of the National Intelligent Plant Factory Innovation Alliance. He served as the Chief Scientist of 863 Project "Intelligent Plant Factory Production Technology Research", and the Chief Scientist of "China-UK Intelligent Plant Factory" Project of the 13th Five-Year Plan. Prof. Yang's research focuses on the field of protected agriculture. He has achieved innovative breakthroughs in the plant factory, greenhouse energy-saving, and urban agriculture. As the first accomplisher, he has won 2 second prizes of National Science and Technology Progress Award, one China Patent Gold Award, and more than 10 provincial and ministerial awards. Till now, he has published 267 papers and 8 books, and has achieved more than 150 authorized patents.
