        经过近70年的发展,我国已建立起规模位居世界前列的现代石油化工产业体系。但是石油资源不足,原油产量无法满足下游石化企业的生产需求,对外依存度不断上升;同时优质的烯烃和芳烃生产原料供应不足。近年来现代煤化工技术已取得全面突破,以煤制烯烃、煤制乙二醇和煤制油为代表的一批关键技术实现了产业化,使得通过煤经甲醇原料生产多种清洁燃料和基础化工原料成为可能。从战略层面和技术层面,采用创新技术大力发展现代煤化工产业,既可以保障石化产业安全,促进石化原料多元化,还可以形成煤化工与石油化工产业互补、协调发展的新格局。
英文摘要
        Petrochemical industry has been evolved in China for decades as the domestic economics and markets develop. Lack of oil reserves, together with the rapid increase of the demand of liquid fuel and chemicals, leads to the risky and uncontrollable supply of the oil feedstock and meantime hinders the optimization of the structure of China's chemical products. Coal to chemicals, after more than 30 years' research and development, is becoming an effective and significant approach to produce basic chemicals such as olefins and aromatics. In view of the relatively abundant coal reserves in China, it is essential to develop coal chemical industries, which can be considered as a complement to petrochemical industries at either the strategical level to produce olefins, aromatics, and ethanol, or at the technical level to directly co-feed methanol with naphtha or toluene for on-purpose production. This opens a potential way for the coordinated development of coal chemical and petrochemical industries in China.

叶茂 中国科学院大连化学物理研究所研究员、博士生导师。2000年获东南大学工学博士,2000-2009年先后在荷兰Twente大学、Eindhoven技术大学和壳牌公司工作,2009年加入中国科学院大连化学物理研究所。目前主要围绕国家在煤化工和石油化工领域的需求,开展催化过程开发及反应器放大研究。曾获全国百篇优秀博士论文提名论文、中国科学院杰出成就奖、中国石油和化学工业联合会科技进步奖特等奖。入选中国科学院"百人计划"、英国皇家学会牛顿高级学者、张大煜优秀学者,以及国家"万人计划"科技创新领军人才。

YE Mao Professor of chemical engineering at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP),Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).He received his Ph.D.from Southeast University in 2000.From 2000 to 2009,he worked with Twente University,Eindhoven University of Technology,and Shell Global Solutions International B.V.in the Netherlands.His research focuses on methanol to olefins and aromatics process development and reactor scale-up.He received various awards and prizes,including the CAS Outstanding Achievement Award for Science and Technology,the Newton Advanced Fellowship of Royal Society (UK),DICP Zhang Dayu Scholar,and National Science&Technology Leader of National Ten-thousand Talents Program.

朱文良 中国科学院大连化学物理研究所研究员。2005年在中国科学院大连化学物理研究所获得博士学位,并在日本北九州市立大学和Texas A&M University at Qatar分校做博士后研究。2009年回到中国科学院大连化学物理研究所,2014年晋升研究员及博士生导师,2018年入选国家创新人才推进计划及"万人计划"。主要从事能源领域中洁净燃料及大宗化学品的催化合成及反应新工艺研究,带领研究团队实现全球首套10万吨/年合成气制乙醇工业示范项目一次投产成功,入选中国科学院2017年年度科技创新亮点成果,并获2018年中国科学院科技促进发展奖。

ZHU Wenliang Professor,received his Ph.D.from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP),Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2005.After 3 years at The University of Kitakyushu and 1 year at Texas A&M University at Qatar as a postdoctoral fellow,he joined DICP,where he was appointed as the leader of syngas conversion group in 2013 and full professor in 2014.His current research activities focus on development of new catalysts and novel catalytic processes for syngas conversion.Under his leadership,the world's first 100 000 t/a industrial demonstration project for ethanol production from syngas was put into operation successfully in 2017,which was selected as the highlight achievement of CAS,and won the CAS Science and Technology Advancement Award in 2018.
