        改革开放40年来,我国畜牧业综合生产能力持续提升,畜产品结构不断优化,质量安全保障体系进一步完善,产业综合素质显著增强,绿色发展稳步推进,畜牧业已成为农业农村经济的重要支柱产业之一,成为现代农业建设的排头兵。推进可持续发展是当前和今后一个时期现代畜牧业建设的重点任务。在分析制约畜牧业可持续发展的主要问题基础上,文章阐述了当前和今后一个时期促进畜牧业可持续发展的思路,提出要加快畜牧业转型升级,构建种养循环可持续发展机制,营造畜牧业高质量可持续的发展环境,加快建设资源节约型、环境友好型和生态保育型畜牧业,为实现“农业强、农民富、农村美”提供有力支撑。
英文摘要
        Through forty years of reforming and opening up, the integrated production capacity of animal husbandry industries in China is continuously improving. Such improvement is characterized by the continuous optimization of animal product structure, further improvement of the quality and safety control system, significant improvement of overall quality of the industry, and the steady progress of the ‘green development’ program. Nowadays, the animal husbandry industry has become one of the pioneers in the progress of establishing modern agricultural systems in China, and achieving sustainable development has become a priority issue for current and future period. This article analyzed the main problems restricting the sustainable development of animal husbandry, and elaborated the potential strategy of promoting the sustainable development of animal husbandry in current and future period. It stated that the transformation and upgrading of animal husbandry should be accelerated, with the establishment of the mechanism of livestock-farming cycle and the environment for sustainable development of high quality animal husbandry industry. An animal husbandry system which is resource saving, environment friendly, and ecologically protective, will provide strong support in achieving China's goal of better agriculture, richer farmers, and more prosperous and beautiful rural areas.

陈伟生 中国动物疫病预防控制中心(农业农村部屠宰技术中心)主任、研究员。曾任全国畜牧兽医总站副站长、全国畜牧总站副站长、农业部畜牧业司副司长、巡视员。长期从事畜牧兽医管理和技术推广工作,曾参与起草《畜牧法》及其配套法规和国家畜牧业的相关政策措施,组织全国畜禽遗传资源调查,制定国家畜禽遗传改良计划,指导推进全国畜禽标准化规模养殖,组织研究中国畜禽养殖业可持续发展战略等。目前主要从事全国动物疫病预防控制工作,开展主要动物疫病综合防控技术集成与示范等。现为中国畜牧兽医学会副理事长。

CHEN Weisheng Professor and Director General of China Animal Disease Control Center (also known as Center of Slaughtering Technology of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs). Professor Chen served as the Deputy Director General of National Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Deputy Director General of National Animal Husbandry Service, Deputy Director General of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Inspector of Ministry of Agriculture. He has long been working on the management of animal husbandry and veterinary services, as well as the application and dissemination of relevant technologies. Professor Chen participated in drafting animal husbandry law and supporting regulations, and relevant policies and measures for the national animal husbandry. He also involved organizing national investigations of livestock and poultry genetic resources, generating the national livestock and poultry genetic improvement plan, guiding and promoting the standardization of large-scale livestock and poultry industry, and coordinating and studying the sustainable development strategies of China's livestock and poultry industry, etc. He is currently focusing on animal disease prevention and control, and the integration and demonstration of technologies to control major animal diseases in China. He also serves as the Vice President of Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine.

印遇龙 中国工程院院士,中国科学院亚热带农业生态研究所研究员,博士生导师,中国科学院"百人计划"人选。获英国女王大学哲学博士学位。现任畜禽养殖污染控制与资源化技术国家工程实验室主任,中国农学会微量元素与食物链分会理事长,国家生猪产业技术创业战略联盟理事长等职。长期从事畜禽健康养殖与环境控制研究,先后主持完成科研项目30多项。在畜禽绿色养殖技术、非常规饲料原料高效利用以及养殖过程废弃物减控等方面成果卓著,以第一完成人获国家科技进步奖3项和国家自然科学奖1项,带领团队发表SCI收录论文300多篇,被引用10 000多次, h指数54。

YIN Yulong Professor, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Director of the Animal Nutrition and Health Center, Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He earned a doctorate in animal nutrition from The Queen's University of Belfast, UK. Currently, he is the Director of National Engineering Laboratory for Pollution Control and Waste Utilization in Livestock and Poultry Production, the Chairman of the Trace Elements and Food Chain Chapter, China Agricultural Society, and the Director of National Pig Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. He has engaged in the research of health breeding and environmental control of livestock and poultry for a long time, and has led more than 30 scientific research projects. He earned outstanding achievements in health breeding of livestock and poultry, efficient utilization of unconventional feed, and reduction and control of the wastes in livestock production. As primary, He has received several prestigious awards, including three times of National Science and Technology Advancement Award, one time of National Natural Science Award, led the team to publish over 300 SCI indexed papers, which have been cited more than 10 000 times, with h index 54.
