She has a strong background in using remote sensing for lithology mapping and heritage conservation. She was appointed as Co-chair of DBAR-Heritage International Working Group in 2016

Natarajan Ishwaran is a terrestrial ecology and wildlife management professional from Sri Lanka. From 1986 to 2012, he held senior positions on natural heritage, ecological and Earth sciences in UNESCO. During 2012-2015 he was a State Recruited Expert of HIST. He is currently a Visiting Professor of HIST
