The formation and change of ideals and beliefs are closely related to individual psychological process and state of mind. The article analyses the connotation and role of staying true to the mission, the formation and change of individual level beliefs and the influence factors, and the dialectical and unified relationship between staying mission true and making innovations, in order to enhance the level of ideological and political education.

傅小兰 中科院心理所所长、研究员、博士生导师,中国科学院大学心理学系主任、教授,脑与认知科学国家重点实验室副主任,中国心理学会候任理事长、秘书长。从事认知心理学及相关应用领域的研究,承担和参与科技项目30余项,发表中英文论文300余篇,主持或参与制定国家标准9项,获批专利3项,主编《心·坐标:当代心理学大家》《情绪心理学》以及"电子社会与当代心理学名著译丛"等著作。E-mail:fuxl@psych.ac.cn
