        文章从全球高科技对材料科学提出的新挑战,材料组织演化理论及有关知识单元的发 展史,新型产业链是学科交叉和群体性技术革命的产物,国际上创立新材料制造科学体系 的借鉴,走中国的道路创立新材料制造科学体系的路线图和“十三五”期间的紧迫任务与 措施 6 个层面论证了创建新材料制造科学体系是迎接制造业全球竞争的前瞻性战略布局,是 全面贯彻落实五大发展理念,建设制造强国的重点工作。
英文摘要
        Six perspectives, from which materials and their manufacturing and fabrication system are demostrated, are as follows. (1) How could materials science meet the challenge of ever-increased development of advanced technologies? (2) The stories of basic knowledge of microstructure evolution. (3) Newly-developed and developing industry chains are output of multidisciplinary integration occurred in advanced technologies. (4) What could we learn from global experience of novel materials and their manufacturing and fabrication? (5) Designing Chinese knowledge system of novel materials and their manufacturing and fabrication. And (6) where is our roadmap? What are urgent tasks and implementation measures for the 13th Five-Year Plan? In order to catch up and be comparable with global competition in fields of industries, we propose that the creation of novel materials and their manufacturing and fabrication system is one of the forward-looking strategies. In order to build a strong state with advanced and powerful manufacturing and fabrication system, it is then one of the key factors to fulfill the so called five development concepts of “innovation, harmony, green, open, and sharing”.

材料科学技术专家,中科院院士,中南大学教授。1938年11月出生于广西荔浦,1960年毕业于中南矿冶学 院,1963年中南矿冶学院金属学专业研究生毕业,2003年当选为中科院院士。主要从事相图热力学与相变动力学研 究。发展了结构特点不同的相的热力学模型和相图优化计算方法,构筑了一系列金属合金、氧化锆基陶瓷及人工晶体 材料的相图。发展了研究相图等温截面和等温四面体的多元扩散偶方法,实现用一个试样获得三元相图等温截面及无 扩散亚稳相转变区等信息。建立了阶段性亚稳相转变理论,揭示了某些铁合金中依次出现各种亚稳相的相变机制。以 不同热力学变量为坐标的相图为背景来研究各类动力学通道,建立了模拟材料组织演化过程的理论框架,并用于预测 和阐明合金的非晶形成区、复合材料的界面反应过程及热腐蚀产物的形成条件。

Jin Zhanpeng
Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and professor of Central South University (CSU). He is an expert in materials science and technology. His research mainly focuses on thermodynamic of phase diagram and kinetics of phase transformation. He has developed thermodynamic models for many phases of different structures as well as methods for phase diagram optimization. Out of these, he has constructed a series of phase diagrams and thermodynamic databases for alloys, ZrO2-based ceramics, and synthetic crystals. He has also developed diffusion triple method capable to obtaining ternary isothermal phase diagram and diffusionless phase transition regions with use of only one sample. In addition, he has established staged phase transformation theory, revealed the mechanism of metastable phase transition for multi-component systems. Furthermore, he has established the framework of simulation of microstructure evolution, and predicted and clarified the formation areas of amorphous alloys, the interface reaction process of composites and the formation conditions of hot corrosions.
