        文章从中国是全球化下的东方后发大国这一基本根据出发，在全球视野下提出中国 自主创新战略的客观含义，即必须全面突破国际创新格局实现技术赶超；分析了中国实现这 一目标的5 大战略优势，即巨大规模、产业体系、举国体制、后发优势和成本优势，据此做出中 国能够实现全面突破的理论判断；并对中国创新大国现状和创新加速态势进行了总结。关于 现状，在指出中国创新总量指标已很可观的事实基础上，以6 大特征为标志概括了中国产业创 新能力的“万花筒”格局；关于趋势，在指出中国创新能力在过去10 多年加速提升的事实基础 上，认为中国创新的战略优势由潜力变为现实是加速的根本原因。进而做出判断：中国创新 能力的加速提升，正在逼近一个临界点，将会成为未来10 年中国创新能力的爆发期。最后提 出，为使创新爆发期由可能成为现实，需要实施8大战略和相应政策。

        Based on that China is a big oriental developing country, the paper discusses several strategic questions about China’s endogenous innovation. It is inevitable for China to achieve a comprehensive breakthrough of current global technological dominance by the western countries, while China owns five strategic advantages, namely large scale advantage, industrial system, the whole nation system, late-mover advantage，and low-cost advantage, which are in favor of the aim of the comprehensive breakthrough. Therefore, the status quo and an accelerating trend of China’s innovation are analyzed. China’s innovation statistics have improved dramatically thus far, and China’s industrial innovation capability can be summarized in six characteristics. It is argued that China’s innovation capability has speed up in last decade due to the materialization of the above-mentioned strategic advantages of innovation, which makes it possible for the initial emergence of the international influence of China's innovation capability. As a result of China's innovation acceleration, the advent of the tipping point of innovation of China in this decade is predictable. It concludes by presenting several strategies and corresponding polices to push forward the arrival of the tipping point.
