        植物天然产物在医药健康领域有着广泛的应用。从植物中直接提取是目前生产植物源天然产物的主要方法,但此法在环境、安全和效率等方面存在诸多问题。基于合成生物学的理念,创建人工细胞工厂发酵生产植物源天然产物是一种新的资源获取模式。文章将从研究路线出发,在萜类、苯丙素类和生物碱等化合物的生产应用案例中,介绍人工合成细胞生产植物源天然产物的研究现状。
英文摘要
        Plant-derived natural products (PNPs) have been widely used in pharmaceutical and neutracuetical fields. Currently, extracting PNPs from their original plants is the main method to produce them. However, this extracting method is environmentally unfriendly, unsafe, and inefficient. Based on synthetic biology, construction of artificial cell factories for production of PNPs provides an alternative way. In this review, we focus on research progress for microbial production of terpenoids, alkaloids, and phenylpropanoids to give a brief introduction of construction of artificial cell factories for production of PNPs.

戴住波 中国科学院天津工业生物技术研究所副研究员,中国科学院青年促进会会员。主要从事分子生药学和合成生物学等前沿交叉学科研究,以"人参酵母"和"精油酵母"等系列人工细胞工厂创建为研究案例,初步建立了以高效微生物细胞工厂为基础的天然药物和营养品绿色生产模式。研究成果发表在Biotechnology and Bioengineering、Metabolic Engineering等学术期上,申请专利12项(含PCT 1项),获中国药学会科学技术奖一等奖1项。

DAI Zhubo Associate Professor in Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology,Chinese Academy of Sciences (TIB,CAS).His research interest is using synthetic biology and metabolic engineering to construct efficient yeast cell factories for production of high-value plant metabolites from renewable biomass.Dr.Dai received his Ph.D.in molecular pharmacognosy at Institute of Chinese Materia Medica,Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in 2010.So far,he has published papers in Biotechnology and Bioengineering,Metabolic Engineering,and so on,and has applied 12 Chinese patents with 3 granted.

张学礼 中国科学院天津工业生物技术研究所研究员,中国科学院系统微生物工程重点实验室主任。国家"万人计划"领军人才,国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金获得者,中国科学院"百人计划"专家。主要研究方向为应用微生物代谢工程及合成生物学技术构建高效微生物细胞工厂、生产大宗化学品和植物天然产物。成功构建了生产L-丙氨酸、丁二酸、D-乳酸、番茄红素、β-榄香烯等化学品的高效微生物细胞工厂。发表SCI论文50余篇,被引1600余次。获授权国外专利11项和中国专利13项。获中国专利优秀奖1项、安徽省科技进步奖二等奖1项、中国石油和化工联合会科技进步奖二等奖1项。

ZHANG Xueli Professor in Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology,Chinese Academy of Sciences (TIB,CAS),Director of the CAS Key Laboratory of Systems Microbial Biotechnology.He was supported by the Ten Thousand Talents Program,the Excellent Young Scientists Fund of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Hundred Talents Program of CAS.Dr.Zhang got his Bachelor's degree (2000) in biotechnology and Ph.D.degree (2005) in biochemistry and molecular biology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.He did his postdoctoral research at University of Florida with training in metabolic engineering from 2005 to 2007,then he worked as a research assistant professor until 2009.In 2010,Dr.Zhang joined TIB as a professor.His current research interests are metabolic engineering and synthetic biology with applications in constructing microbial cell factories for production of bulk chemicals and plant-derived natural products (PNPs).He has published more than 50 SCI indexed papers,which have been cited about 1600 times.He has 24 issued patents in China,US,Europe,Canada,Japan,South Korean,Australia,and so on.He has obtained an Excellence Award for Chinese Patent and a Second Prize of The Scientific and Technological Progress of Anhui Province.
