        科学和技术政策研究是一个学科交叉领域,其目的是探讨政府支持科学和技术发展以及利用科学和技术为社会经济发展服务的理论依据、工具、方法和效果。本文简要介绍了科学和技术政策研究的目的、意义和特点,评述了国际上科学和技术政策研究的理论与方法进展、研究前沿和热点问题。

        Science and Technology research is a multidisciplinary research area ,which aim is to study the rationales and tools by which government supports science and technology research and use them for the social and economic development, and evaluate the effects of the support. This paper briefly introduces the object, meaning and features of science and technology research, and reviews the progress in its theory and method and frontier research issue.
