新生病毒疾病的研究现状及发展趋势

        在过去的20年里新的病毒不断产生以前得到控制的病毒死灰复燃新生和再生的病毒病已成为新世纪世界所面临的重要的公共卫生问题。本文简要介绍了国际上相关领域的研究状况和发展趋势,扼要介绍了我国的情况,对如何加强我国新生病毒的研究提出了几点建议。

        Emerging and resurging viral diseases such as SARS and Avian influenza A are among the most important of the emerging infectious disease and public health problems facing the world at the beginning of the new century. In the last two decades lots of new viruses have been recognized. More important, however, is the resurgence and geographic spread of a number of old viruses that have been once effectively controlled. This paper gives a brief view to the international developing situation and prospect in this field. We also outline the situation in China. Some suggestions on the future development of emerging virology are proposed.
