        合成生物学是生命科学的前沿方向,但目前受限于理性设计能力不足的关键瓶颈。定量合成生物学通过整合定量解析与合成重构,有望为突破该瓶颈提供新的研究范式。文章梳理了该领域兴起的背景与必要性,并介绍了国内学者在此方向上的前期探索。结合学科发展特点的分析,文章提出了开展定量合成生物学研究范式的2个重点:(1) 以使命驱动与自由探索相结合的建制化协同攻关核心路径,深入推进国内定量合成生物学基础研究;(2)探索建制化成果转化机制,推动前沿科研成果高效转化为新质生产力,为构建长效科研创新体系、夯实我国科技自立自强根基提供参考。
英文摘要
        Synthetic biology is an important frontier in the life sciences, yet its further development remains constrained by limited capacity for rational design. Quantitative synthetic biology, which iteratively integrates quantitative modeling with the construction and analysis of synthetic systems, offers a promising paradigm for addressing this challenge. In this perspective, the study discusses the background and motivations underlying the emergence of this field and summarizes recent developments and exploratory efforts. Considering the unique characteristics of quantitative synthetic biology, it is suggested that progress in the field may benefit from strategically organized collaborative research that balances mission-oriented goals with investigator-driven exploration. On the translational side, possible mechanisms are further discussed for facilitating the conversion of research advances into practical applications and broader societal value. It is hoped that these considerations may provide a useful reference for fostering a sustainable research and innovation ecosystem for quantitative synthetic biology in China and for supporting the long-term development of scientific and technological capabilities.
